Mountain Express are seeking professional, responsible, reliable drivers who genuinely enjoy driving (rather than seeing it just as a job) to join our friendly team.

Duties:

Transfer Driving. A full job description including duties will be sent in reply to your application.

On a typical weekend you would normally be required to make two return journeys each day between resorts and airports which can easily total in the region of 500 kms (approx. 300 miles) per day on a busy Saturday and maybe occasionally the same on Sunday.

Hours will vary from 35 (standard hours) to a maximum of 48 hours per week with overtime. We can also offer 24 hour contracts working just weekends + 1 other day for those who's main motivation is to get out on the mountain! If your motive to apply for this role is just to work as many hours as possible regardless of the legislation then please don't apply. There are plenty of other companies out there who are happy to overwork their drivers however we feel our salary package offers ample income to enjoy a more sensible work/life balance.

Requirements

This role would suit individuals with the following attributes & experience :

Minimum age 23 (for insurance reasons)
EU passport or valid work permit for France
Two seasons previous experience as a transfer driver if you only have a Category B (car) licence
OR a RoSPA advanced driver or Chauffeur certificate*
OR a Taxi/Private Hire licence
OR a full C or D licence
No criminal record
Fluent English speaker (basic French useful but not essential)
Fit and healthy, able to pass a basic French Medical
A positive and flexible "can do" attitude to all duties.
Excellent interpersonal skills, friendly and outgoing & personal hygiene essential.
