Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Finance (Portugal) will support the Corporate Director of Finance in overseeing the financial operations of the Group's hotel portfolio in Portugal. This role is responsible for assisting in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements, contributing to the achievement of the company's financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the Director of Finance in managing the Group’s financial operations in Portugal.
· Contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements.
· Collaborate with department heads to monitor costs and budgets;
· Support corporate finance projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and business transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
· Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
· Previous experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the hospitality industry;
· Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis;
· Good understanding of accounting standards and statutory requirements;
· Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills;
· Fluent in English and Portuguese;
