Job Summary: The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company’s financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records;
· Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and accounting documentation;
· Support month-end and year-end closing processes;
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies;
· Monitor financial processes and contribute to continuous improvements;
· Collaborate with internal teams to support effective financial management.
Requirements:
· Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
· Previous experience in a Chief Accountant or senior accounting role, preferably within the hospitality industry;
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance;
· Good analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills;
· High attention to detail and accuracy;
· Fluent in English and Portuguese;
